Student Leadership Programs

Mercy School offers a variety of student leadership programs designed to help young leaders grow in confidence, communication, responsibility, and teamwork. Through opportunities such as the Mercy Youth Leadership Committee (MYLC), Student Council (STUCO), and Mustang Mentors, students develop essential skills while representing their peers, supporting school initiatives, and serving as positive role models. These programs empower students to lead with character, contribute to our school community, and strengthen the values that make Mercy School exceptional.

  • Mercy's Student Council (STUCO) is a student-led organization exclusively for juniors at Mercy School Institute. STUCO allows students to organize school events, host fundraisers, and increase student involvement throughout the school. Students also acquire different skillsets, like marketing skills through the Advertising Team, and leadership qualities through roles like President, Vice President, and more. STUCO events are centered around uplifting school spirit.

  • Mercy Youth Leadership Committee (MYLC) is an organization that all juniors take part in. MYLC offers students the opportunity to participate in civic engagement, organize workshops, build leadership, give back to the school community, and manage fundraisers. MYLC events are centered around teaching Islamic principles while also having fun.
